Switch Energy Harvesting RF Generator

This Energy Harvesting Generator is the rawest form of CHERRY’s technology. When actuated, a mechanical force acts vertically on the end of the generator’s lever. A patented mechanism then converts the mechanical energy generated into electrical energy in the form of an RF signal. Please note that this product must be used in conjunction with suitable RF electronics. The generator is integral to CHERRY’s rocker and snap switches (Rocker – RS P/N 8736671 & Snap – RS P/N 8736675).

Switch Rocker Energy Harvesting RF 868MHz

This wireless momentary rocker switch provides data transfer via RF technology, taking away the need for complex wire assemblies, increasing flexibility for use. The required energy is generated by mechanical actuation of the switch, eliminating the need for batteries. Flexible pairing allows the operation of several switches with one receiver and vice-versa, and the switch “Unique ID” provides clear identification while operating several switches at once. Up to three telegrams are sent per actuation, with pseudo-random timing to assure robust data transmission. This unit works on a frequency of 868 Mhz and uses a proprietary protocol.
