Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 40μm Filtration Size, 2300L/min Maximum Flow Rate - MSB6-3/8:C3:J1:D1:A1:F3-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233032

This combination unit conditions compressed Air for industrial pneumatic systems, integrating filtration, regulation and pressure indication in a single assembly. It accepts compressed Air to ISO 8573-1:2010 quality classes and is intended for installations where condensed water and particulates require separation and controlled output pressure. The unit is supplied with an analogue pressure gauge port and is designed for vertical mounting with a detachable bracket for fixed plant use.

Features and Benefits:

• 4 to 12 bar pressure regulation range enables precise downstream control
• 2300 L/min maximum flow supports high-throughput pneumatic circuits
• 40 μm filtration removes particulate to protect valves and actuators
• Manual rotating condensate drain simplifies maintenance operations
• Polycarbonate bowl with guard allows quick Visual fluid inspection

Applications

• Suitable for feed to industrial Air valves and actuators
• Used with production-line tool Air supplies requiring Visual monitoring
• Ideal for compressed Air distribution manifolds in workshops
• Can be used for pneumatic test rigs needing stable output pressure
• Used for inert gas preparation where particulate control is required

What operating pressures can it handle?

It operates between 0.45 MPa and 1.8 MPa (4.5 bar to 18 bar).

What temperatures are acceptable for storage and media?

Both ambient and media temperatures may range from -10 °C to 60 °C.

Which materials are used for the housing and bowl?

The housing is die-cast aluminium and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate.

How is condensate managed on-site?

Condensate is removed via a manual rotating drain with 38 ml capacity.

What type of connections are provided for pneumatic ports?

Ports use G-thread connections including G 1/2 for the main port.
