Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 20 bar Maximum Operating Pressure, 40μm Filtration Size - MSB6-1/2:J120:M1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233026

This combination unit provides compressed Air treatment by integrating filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication for pneumatic systems. Intended for use with compressed Air and inert gases to the stated purity classes, it maintains a stable downstream pressure while removing particulates and permitting optional lubrication. The assembly features a manual condensate drain and is suitable for vertical mounting with a mounting bracket.

Features and Benefits:

• 4800 L/min flow capacity supports high-demand pneumatic systems
• 0.1 to 7 bar adjustable pressure range allows precise downstream control
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard enables Visual condensate inspection
• Manual rotating drain permits controlled condensate removal
• Operating temperature up to 60 °C sustains elevated ambient conditions

Applications

• Suitable for supply lines requiring particulate removal to 40 μm
• Ideal for factories using inert gas distribution systems
• Used with actuators needing a stable regulated supply pressure
• Can be used for compressed Air preparation to ISO 8573-1:2010
• Suitable for systems requiring mounting in confined vertical spaces

What connection thread standard does it use?

Ports use G-thread connections sized G1/2 for pneumatic inlet and outlet.

How does the controller maintain output pressure?

It employs primary pressure compensation with return flow and secondary exhausting to keep output pressure constant.

What materials are used for wetted components?

The housing is die-cast aluminium, Seals are NBR, and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate with a plastic bowl guard.

What is the acceptable operating medium and related cleanliness?

Compressed Air to ISO 8573-1:2010 and inert gas are suitable

Air purity at the output meets the specified ISO class.
