Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MSB6-1/2:J1:M1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233024

This combination unit provides compressed Air treatment by integrating filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication for pneumatic systems. Designed for moderate corrosion environments and compatible with compressed Air and inert gases to ISO 8573-1:2010, it offers a compact, bracket-mounted solution for maintaining output Air quality and stable downstream pressure across typical industrial temperature ranges.

Features and Benefits:

• G1/2 pneumatic ports enable standard G-thread connections for system integration
• Maximum flow 3700 L/min supports high-volume Air supply demands
• Pressure regulation 0.5 to 12 bar ensures precise downstream control
• Manual condensate drain with rotating action allows simple maintenance
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard provides Visual oil and condensate monitoring

Applications

• Suitable for factory compressed-air distribution and control panels
• Ideal for feeding pneumatic actuators and valves in production
• Used with inert gas supplies requiring filtration and pressure control
• Can be used for lubricated operation where oil addition is required
• Suitable for installations operating between -10 °C and 60 °C

What materials are used for the housing and bowl?

The main housing is die-cast aluminium and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate.

What pressure ranges and maximum ratings apply to the unit?

The device regulates between 0.5 and 12 bar, operates from 1.5 bar to 20 bar and withstands up to 20 bar maximum operating pressure.

How does the unit indicate output pressure?

An integrated analogue pressure gauge is fitted to a G1/2 pressure-gauge port for direct Visual monitoring.

What filtration and oil capacities does it offer?

The filter element captures 40 μm particles and the lubricator holds up to 75 cm³ of oil.

What mounting and environmental characteristics are specified?

It is supplied with a mounting bracket for vertical installation within ±5° and is rated for CRC2 moderate corrosion stress.
