Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 40μm Filtration Size, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range - MSB6-3/8:C3:J1:F3-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233033

This filter regulator is a service unit combination designed to condition compressed Air and manage outlet pressure for industrial pneumatic systems. It integrates filtration, pressure regulation and an on/off valve to provide stable downstream pressure with primary compensation and secondary exhausting. The unit accepts compressed Air conforming to ISO 8573-1:2010 and is suitable for use with inert gases and lubricated supply where lubrication is required downstream.

Features and Benefits:

• 3500 L/min maximum flow rate for high-capacity supply
• 40μm grade of filtration for particulate removal
• 0.5 to 12 bar pressure regulation range for precise control
• Manual condensate drain enabling controlled fluid removal
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard for Visual monitoring

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic actuators requiring stable pressure
• Used with assembly-line Air tools demanding high flow
• Ideal for inert-gas supply conditioning in plant systems
• Can be used for workshops with lubricated compressors
• Suitable for modular service unit installations with bracket mounting

What temperature ranges can it operate within?

It operates between -10°C and 60°C for both ambient and media temperatures.

What materials are used for the main wetted components?

The housing is die-cast aluminium and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate with a plastic guard.

How is the unit mounted and what port standards are provided?

It is supplied for mounting with a bracket and features G-thread pneumatic connections including a 1/2 in pressure gauge port.

How does the regulator maintain output pressure stability?

It provides primary pressure compensation, return-flow function and constant output pressure control for regulation.
