Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MSB6-3/8:C3:J2:F3-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233035

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air by combining pressure regulation with particulate separation for industrial pneumatic systems. It accepts compressed Air compliant with ISO 8573-1:2010 and maintains a stable output pressure while removing contaminants to protect downstream components. The unit is intended for vertical mounting and includes a Visual pressure indication option for system monitoring.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar pressure setting range ensures consistent downstream control
• 40 μm filtration size removes fine particulates before actuators
• 3,500 L/min maximum flow rate supports high‑throughput systems
• Fully automatic condensate drain reduces manual maintenance
• Polycarbonate bowl with guard allows Visual fluid inspection

Applications

• Used for general compressed‑Air preparation in production lines
• Suitable for pneumatic valve islands requiring pressure stability
• Ideal for feeding Air tools and actuators with high flow demand
• Can be used for inert gas conditioning in test rigs
• Used with lubricated systems where lubrication is required

What port connections are provided for system piping?

Ports include G3/8 for supply and gauge, Plus a G1/2 auxiliary port for downstream connection.

Which materials are used for the housing and bowl components?

The housing is die‑cast aluminium and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate with a plastic guard.

What temperature range should the unit be stored and operated within?

It can be stored and operated between -10 °C and 60 °C.

How does the regulator manage pressure variations from the supply side?

It features primary pressure compensation and a controller function that holds output pressure constant.

What standards govern the cleanliness of the delivered air?

The output Air meets ISO 8573-1:2010 Air quality classes.
