Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 1900L/min Max. Flow Rate, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range - MSB6-1/4:J2:M1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233031

This combination unit is a Compact service module for Air treatment, integrating filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication for compressed Air and inert gases. Designed for vertical mounting, it manages supply cleanliness and pressure control for pneumatic systems while allowing lubricated operation when required. The unit accepts G‑thread pneumatic connections and includes an analogue pressure gauge to display output pressure.

Features and Benefits:

• 40 μm filtration for particulate removal and equipment protection
• Fully automatic condensate drain for maintenance‑free condensate handling
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard for Visual level indication
• 1900 L/min flow capacity to support high‑flow pneumatic circuits
• 0.5 to 12 bar adjustable regulation for broad pressure control

Applications

• Suitable for tool feeding in high‑flow pneumatic networks
• Ideal for pressurised inert gas conditioning in process lines
• Used with lubricated actuators requiring continuous oil supply
• Can be used for machine tool Air preparation at varied pressures

What materials are used for wetted housing and seals?

The housing is die‑cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate and Seals are NBR.

Which connection sizes are provided for pipeline integration?

Pneumatic ports use G1/4 thread for both inlet and outlet and the gauge port is G1/4.

What temperature range can it operate within?

It is specified for operation and storage between -10 °C and 60 °C.

How does the regulator maintain output pressure under changing inlet conditions?

It includes primary pressure compensation and a controller function to keep output pressure constant.

What Air quality standard applies to the treated output?

The unit handles compressed Air conforming to ISO 8573‑1:2010 with the stated purity class.
