Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 40μm Filtration Size, 12 bar Maximum Operating Pressure - MSB6-AGE:J2:M1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233047

This combination unit conditions compressed Air for industrial installations by integrating filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication in a single assembly. Designed for vertical mounting with a bracket, it accepts G3/4 pneumatic connections and is suitable for compressed Air and inert gases meeting ISO 8573-1:2010 purity classes. The unit includes an analogue pressure display and a fully automatic condensate drain to support continuous operation in systems where consistent downstream pressure and particulate removal are required.

Features and Benefits:

• 3700 L/min flow delivers high-capacity Air supply
• 40 μm filtration protects downstream components from particulates
• 0.5 to 12 bar regulator range provides wide output adjustment
• Polycarbonate bowl with guard allows Visual condensate monitoring
• Automatic drain disposes condensate without manual intervention

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tool supply in manufacturing plants
• Ideal for instrument Air lines requiring stable pressure
• Used with compressors needing automated condensate management
• Can be used for inert gas preparation in test rigs
• Used for Air-operated valves in production automation systems

What materials contact the Air stream that affect compatibility?

The housing is die-cast aluminium, Seals are NBR, and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate providing moderate corrosion resistance.

How does the unit handle temperature extremes in plant environments?

It operates where ambient and media temperatures range between -10°C and 60°C.

Which connection interfaces are provided for installation?

Pneumatic ports 1 and 2 and the pressure gauge port use G3/4 thread standard.

Is the unit suitable for lubricated Air systems?

Lubricated operation is permitted and, once used, requires continued lubrication of the supply.
