Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 40μm Filtration Size, 3500L/min Maximum Flow Rate - MSB6-3/8:J2:M1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233039

This combination unit prepares compressed Air by integrating filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication for industrial pneumatic systems. It is designed for use with compressed Air and inert gases conforming to ISO 8573-1:2010 and provides controlled output pressure for downstream equipment. The unit incorporates an automatic condensate drain and an integrated analogue pressure gauge to support continuous operation in environments with moderate corrosion stress.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar adjustable regulator delivers consistent output pressure
• 3500 L/min maximum flow supports high-demand pneumatic circuits
• 40 μm filtration reduces particulate ingress into downstream components
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard enables Visual condensate monitoring
• Automatic condensate drain removes moisture without manual intervention

Applications

• Suitable for supplying pneumatic actuators in manufacturing lines
• Ideal for plant Air systems requiring regulated output pressure
• Used with inert gas systems needing particulate removal
• Can be used for centralised compressed Air treatment stations
• Used for lubrication-capable installations where oil feed is required

What operating temperature range can it tolerate?

It is rated for operation between -10 °C and 60 °C.

Which port thread standard and sizes are provided?

G-thread connections are used with G3/8 ports for pneumatic ports and gauge port.

What materials are used for bowl and housing components?

The bowl is polycarbonate and the housing is die-cast aluminium with NBR seals.

How does it handle condensate collection and discharge?

Condensate collects up to 38 ml and is expelled automatically via the fully automatic drain.

What flow media and purity class does the unit support?

It accepts compressed Air to ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:-] and inert gases, with output Air purity matching that class.
