Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 40μm Filtration Size, 1 to 7 bar Pressure Setting Range - MSB4-1/8:J5:M1, Numeric Part Number: 8233016

This combination unit is a service module that conditions compressed Air for industrial pneumatic systems. It integrates a filter, pressure regulator and lubricator with an analogue pressure gauge and manual condensate drain, designed for vertical mounting. The assembly supports compressed Air and inert gases to the referenced purity standard and accommodates lubricated operation when required, making it suitable for plant Air preparation where stable output pressure and particulate removal are needed.

Features and Benefits:

• 950 L/min maximum flow rate ensures sustained supply for downstream equipment
• 1 to 7 bar adjustable pressure range provides precise output control
• 14 bar maximum operating pressure allows use in higher-pressure circuits
• 40 μm filtration removes fine particulates to protect actuators
• Polycarbonate bowl with manual drain enables visible condensate management

Applications

• Suitable for feeding pneumatic actuators and valves
• Ideal for use on instrumentation Air networks
• Used with inert gas supply lines in process plants
• Can be used for workshop compressed Air stations
• Suitable for systems requiring secondary exhausting function

What operating medium compatibility does it have?

It accepts compressed Air and inert gases conforming to the stated purity classification.

How should it be mounted for correct operation?

It is intended for vertical installation within a tolerance of ±5° using appropriate accessories.

What materials contact the medium and seals?

The housing is die-cast aluminium, the bowl is polycarbonate, and Seals are NBR.

What are the temperature limits for storage and operation?

Storage and media temperature range from -10 °C to 60 °C.
