Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 5μm Filtration Size, 12 bar Maximum Operating Pressure - MSB4-1/4:J4:M1, Numeric Part Number: 8233009

This combination unit is a Compact Air treatment module designed to condition compressed Air for industrial pneumatic systems. It integrates a filter, regulator and lubricator with an automatic condensate drain and an analogue pressure gauge to maintain stable output pressure for downstream equipment. The unit is suited to compressed Air and inert gases and is built for moderate corrosion environments and routine workshop or production use.

Features and Benefits:

• 5μm filtration for particulate reduction and downstream protection
• 2 to 12 bar adjustment range for consistent pressure control
• 850 L/min maximum flow for high-volume supply applications
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard for visible condensate monitoring
• Automatic drain removes collected condensate without manual intervention

Applications

• Suitable for feeding pneumatic valves and actuators on assembly lines
• Ideal for machine tool Air supply requiring stable pressure
• Used with inert gas systems needing particulate removal
• Can be used for workshops with fluctuating primary pressure
• Suitable for compressed Air preparation to ISO 8573-1:2010 standards

What temperature range can it operate within?

It functions across a media and ambient temperature range of -10°C to 60°C.

Which port sizes are provided for pneumatic connections?

Both main ports and the pressure gauge port use G1/4 connections.

How does it handle lubrication requirements?

Lubricated operation is possible and, if applied, the unit requires continued lubricated supply.

What materials are used for the housing and seals?

The housing is die-cast aluminium and Seals are MADE from NBR.
