Festo Series MS Combination Unit, 40μm Filtration Size, 1400L/min Flow Rate - MSB4-AGA:J120:M1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233017

This combination unit provides integrated Air treatment functions for compressed-Air systems, combining filtration, pressure regulation and lubrication in a Compact assembly. It is designed for vertical mounting and accepts compressed Air and inert gases within a moderate corrosion environment. The unit incorporates a pressure indicator, manual condensate removal and a transparent polycarbonate bowl for quick Visual inspection, making it suitable for industrial Air preparation to the ISO 8573-1:2010 standard.

Features and Benefits:

• 1 to 7 bar adjustable regulator offering precise pressure control
• 14 bar maximum operating pressure enabling high-pressure applications
• 1400 L/min flow rate supporting high-volume pneumatic systems
• 40μm filtration protecting downstream components from particulates
• Polycarbonate bowl with manual drain allowing easy condensate servicing

Applications

• Suitable for machine tool Air supply requiring particulate control
• Ideal for pneumatic actuators needing stable downstream pressure
• Used with inert gas systems requiring standardised Air quality
• Can be used for workshop distribution mains with Visual condensate check
• Used for lubrication-fed valves where controlled oil dosing is necessary

What connection ports are available for system integration?

The unit provides G1/8 pneumatic ports for inlet and outlet and a G3/8 pressure gauge port.

What materials are used for wetted and structural components?

The housing is die-cast aluminium, Seals are NBR, and the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate with a plastic guard.

How does the condensate system operate and what capacity does it have?

Condensate is removed via a manual rotating drain and the bowl holds up to 19 ml of condensate.

What temperature range can the unit tolerate during storage and operation?

It is specified for use and storage between -10°C and 60°C.
