A range of socket Dust Covers / Caps from Wurth for various USB types.

Stock number 763-5754 works as a panel support for USB A type sockets that overhang the edge of a PCB and abut a panel, such as stock number 748-0882. Stock number 763-5748 can then be used to form a Dust Cover with the panel front.

Stock number 763-5741 is used to provide a Dust Cover between a PCB mounted USB A type Plug and a panel face (for a standard USB A socket cover see stock number 763-5748l).

Wurth USB 3.0 PCB Connectors and Cable Assemblies


The WR-COM connector series from Wurth is one of the first USB 3.0 connectors in the market that complies with specifications of the USB Implementers Forum. The USB 3.0 architecture allows transmission speeds up to 5 Gbits/s which are 10x faster than the previous standard. This USB 3.0 dual-bus architecture is both backwards and forward compatible (USB 3.0 devise in a 2.0 port). The benefits of using USB 3.0 are reduced transmission times and power consumption. The USB 3.0 ports are characterised by their Blue colour and will physically accept 2.0 hardware despite having more pins.
