SMC ZL112A Series Vacuum Generator, 100L/min Maximum Suction Flow, -84kPa Maximum Vacuum Pressure - ZL112A-G

This vacuum generator is a Compact pneumatic ejector designed to create negative pressure for industrial handling and automation tasks. It operates using compressed Air to produce suction for component pick-up and evacuation in manufacturing and assembly environments, and includes an integrated silencer and a vacuum pressure gauge for Basic monitoring.

Features & Benefits

• 100L/min maximum suction flow for efficient pick-and-place
• 1.2mm nozzle delivers focused vacuum generation
• Operates to -84kPa to handle moderate vacuum requirements
• Accepts supply pressure up to 0.5MPa for standard plant air
• Rated for use between 5°C and 50°C in typical factory conditions
• Plug connection vacuum port for straightforward tubing attachment

Applications

• Suitable for robotic pick-and-place in electronics assembly
• Ideal for vacuum gripping of lightweight mechanical parts
• Used with transfer systems in electrical component manufacturing
• Can be used for evacuation and de-gassing in small process tanks

What supply pressure does it require for normal operation?

It runs on compressed Air with a standard operating supply up to 0.5MPa and a typical supply pressure of 0.4MPa for published performance.

How is exhaust noise managed in workshop installations?

A built-in silencer reduces exhaust sound and simplifies installation near workstations.

What connection type is provided for the vacuum port?

The vacuum port uses a plug connection to accept compatible tubing or an adaptor for Rc1/8 where required.

Can it function in elevated ambient temperatures?

The unit is specified to operate up to a maximum ambient temperature of 50°C

ensure surrounding equipment does not exceed this.

How does the vacuum gauge aid setup?

The integrated vacuum pressure gauge gives immediate Visual feedback of suction level for quick process adjustments.
