Looking for a temperature controller that works as hard as your equipment? This 1/16 DIN PID (proportional integral derivative) controller from the RS PRO range uses a control loop mechanism to keep process temperatures running smoothly.

Standard heating devices perform a basic (on-off) function, which can lead to fluctuations and energy wastage. PID controllers are more sophisticated, using a mathematical formula to ensure process temperatures remain stable.

This PID controller is very simple to use. It has a clear LED display, simple four-button operation as well as auto-tune and self-tune modes. All you need to do is input a setpoint, then watch as the controller responds to feedback from the thermocouple to regulate process temperatures.

Designed to offset sudden fluctuations, this PID temperature controller is suitable for use in specialised industries where precision is key. It's built to IP20 and IP65 standards and is certified as RoHS-compliant against hazardous materials.
