This safety switch is a non-contact RFID interlock designed to monitor guards and access points in industrial settings. It uses RFID sensing with a permanently coded actuator and provides dual safe semiconductor outputs alongside an auxiliary contact for diagnostics. The unit is supplied by a 24V DC source and features a Vistal housing suited to washdown and harsh environments, offering high ingress protection and a Compact form factor for confined installations.

It is fitted with a 3M five-core PVC cable with 5.5mm diameter and copper conductors suitable for fixed and moving installations.

On fault at least one semiconductor safety output is switched to the OFF state to signal a safe condition.

What environmental temperatures can it withstand during operation?

The operating temperature range is -30°C to +70°C for applicable serial number series

other serial numbers may be limited to -10°C to +70°C.

What mechanical resilience does the unit offer against vibration and shock?

It resists vibration at 10Hz to 55Hz with 1mm amplitude and shock up to 30g for 11ms.

How is actuation and alignment specified for installation?

Assured switch-on distance for frontal approach is 10mm and switch-off distance is 25mm with three Active sensor surfaces and five actuation directions.
