Safely and effectively disconnect a battery bank from equipment for security, safety or servicing with this battery rotary switch from the trusted RS PRO range. With a thermoplastic case, this panel-mountable switch is durable and its copper contacts are corrosion-resistant.

This rotary switch has an IP rating of 43, which means it is protected against solid objects larger than 1 mm and can withstand direct water spray at angles up to 60° off vertical. Contact current-rated at 100 A, it will also work at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50˚C.

You'll find battery rotary switches such as this in automotive, marine and traction situations. The switch complies with the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards, so it won't damage equipment through electrostatic discharge.
