Vishay VSMY2850 Series IR Emitting Diodes


The VSMY2850RG and VSMY2850G series, from Vishay Semiconductor, are high speed Infrared (IR) emitting diodes. They are in suface mount (SMT) packages with a clear, untinted dome shaped lens. The VSMY2850RG and VSMY2850G offer different lead types for mounting. Suitable applications for the VSMY2850RG and VSMY2850G IREDs include; IrDA compatible data transmission, miniature light barriers, photointerrupters, optical switches, proximity sensors, IR touch panels and IR illumination.
