RS PRO Ceramic Heating Element, 245 mm, 1 kW, 230 V AC
Cure paint coatings and plastic weldings with this curved ceramic heating element. The concave element is extremely energy efficient as it converts up to 96% of the input power to heat.
With a maximum operating temperature of +700°C, this versatile heating element is suitable for use across the challenging environments found in industry. The wire is embedded into the heater to create long-wave infrared in parallel rays and the concave shape focuses heat into the desired spot, improving efficiency. Long-lasting with between 5,000 to 10,000 working hours, glazed ceramic construction protects the element from corrosion. The unit can cope with power up to 1 kW and has a supply voltage of 230 V AC.
As part of the RS PRO range, this heater has been thoroughly tested for reliability. It can be found in use in manufacturing environments.
