Eaton xEffect Series Fuse Holder, 250A Current, 800V Voltage - 183048 XNH1-FCE-A250-BT

This fuse holder is a three-pole DIN-rail mounted NH1 device designed for mounting-plate installations to provide electronic fuse monitoring and safe disconnection in industrial electrical systems. It is intended for use in control and distribution equipment where monitored NH fuse-links are required, and it accommodates box-terminal connections for large cross‑section conductors.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for 250A continuous operation ensuring high current-handling capacity
• Rated insulation voltage 800V AC enabling higher-voltage system integration
• Electronic fuse monitoring with three red LEDs for Rapid fault indication
• Self‑supplied monitoring with one green LED to simplify wiring requirements
• Frame-clamp box terminals accepting up to 150mm² conductors for heavy cabling
• Sliding inspection windows permit voltage testing without exposing live parts

Applications

• Suitable for industrial distribution panels requiring monitored NH fuses
• Ideal for motor control centres where high short‑circuit ratings are needed
• Used with mounting‑plate assemblies in factory automation switchgear
• Can be used for replacing NH1 fuse carriers in refurbishment projects

What short‑circuit performance can I expect from it?

It has a conditioned rated short‑circuit current of 120 kA and a short‑time withstand current of 6 kA, supporting robust fault‑clearance capabilities.

How does the device aid inspection and maintenance?

The front face includes sliding inspection windows that allow voltage testing while the unit remains installed, reducing downtime during inspections.

Which conductor sizes and connection types are supported?

Box‑terminal connections accept conductor sizes up to 150mm² and copper busbar widths of 30mm x 10 mm, with flange bolt provision for M10.

What environmental and operating limits apply?

The ambient operating range spans −25 °C to 55 °C with a maximum continuous operating temperature reference of 70 °C for component limits.

Is there provision for locking or mechanical security?

It includes an optional locking facility and a cover‑grip actuator to allow secure isolation on site.
