This long-reach float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 accurately monitors both high and low fluid levels in a tank. How does a flow switch stop the flow of liquid into a tank when it's full?


A flow switch is electrically connected to another device, such as a pump. When a tank is full, it sends a signal to the pump to let it know when to switch off. When the tank's lower level is reached, the switch signals the pump to turn on.
