Microchip Technology Flash Memory

The Microchip Technology SST26VF064B series is an 8-pin, surface mount, quad I/O (SQI) flash and a 4-bit multiplexed I/O serial interface SOIJ package flash memory chip. It has an electrical rating ranges between 2.3V and 3.6V. This also supports full command set compatibility with traditional serial peripheral interface (SPI) protocol. Operating at frequencies reaching 104MHz, the SST26VF064B enables minimum latency execute-in-place (XIP) capability without the need for code shadowing on the SRAM.

Features and Benefits

• 2K bone-time programmable (OTP) secure ID

• Burst modes-Continuous linear burst, 64byte linear burst with wrap-around

• Flexible and fast erase capability

• Low power consumption

• Page program-256 Bytes per page in x1 or x4 mode

• Serial interface architecture-Nibble-wide multiplexed I/O's with SPI-like serial command structure: mode0 and mode3

• Serial peripheral interface (SPI) protocol and SQI protocol

• Superior reliability

• Unique 64-bit, factory pre-programmed identifier

Applications

• Digital audio players

• Digital cameras

• Laptop and computers

• PDAs
