Belden Tinned Copper Coaxial Cable, 2.8mm OD - MRG1740 Series

Easily and reliably transfer signals over long distances using this coaxial cable from Belden. It has a low attenuation level of 11dB to minimise signal distortion and improve overall cable performance. A polyethylene (PE) insulation jacket and copper-braid shielding also help to protect the cable's internal wires from electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring a reliable signal connection between your devices. Additionally, it’s bare copper-clad steel conductors are highly conductive to allow for fast signal transference. Thanks to a durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath, this cable is protected against electrical hazards, high temperatures and chemical exposure.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature of -40°C to +70°C for use in harsh environments

• Flexible black PVC sheath ensures easy cable identification

• Unterminated ends for quick and simple installation

Applications

• Television and satellite connections

• CCTV recording

• Residential and business broadband

What’s the capacitance of this coaxial cable?

This coaxial cable features a high capacitance of 100pF/m (picofarads per metre). Thanks to this, it’s able to store a high-level of electrical charge for quick signal transfer from one device to another.
