Huber+Suhner Coaxial Cable, 100m Cable Length, 50Ω Characteristic Impedance - RG_400_/U

This coaxial cable provides a 50Ω transmission line for signal and RF connections in industrial environments. Supplied on a 100 m reel, it combines a solid tin‑plated copper conductor with a fluorinated ethylene propylene outer sheath to withstand harsh operating conditions while maintaining electrical continuity for measurement, control and communication systems.

Features and Benefits:

• 50Ω characteristic impedance supports matched signal integrity
• Solid tin‑plated copper conductor offers stable conductivity under vibration
• FEP outer jacket resists chemicals and thermal exposure
• Rated to 200°C maximum for high‑temperature installations
• Withstands 1.7 kVrms for elevated‑voltage applications
• Meets IEC 60332‑3 for flame behaviour in confined routing

Applications

• Suitable for high‑temperature sensor cabling in automation
• Ideal for RF feedlines in electronic test rigs
• Used for control‑room signal distribution in electrical plants
• Can be used for mechanical system instrumentation wiring
• Suitable for long‑run cabling where a 100 m reel is required

How is the cable terminated for assembly?

It is supplied unterminated to allow bespoke connector fitting and custom assembly procedures.

What environmental temperature range can it endure in service?

The cable is rated for continuous operation down to -65°C as well as up to 200°C for elevated‑temperature routing.

Which materials define the conductor and jacket chemistry?

The central conductor is a solid tin‑plated copper wire while the outer covering is an FEP polymer.

Does the cable meet any hazardous‑fire performance standard?

The construction complies with IEC 60332‑3 flame behaviour requirements for routed cabling.

What colour is the sheath for Visual identification?

The jacket is supplied in brown to aid trunking and panel differentiation.
