Its made of durable polyurethane that resists the corrosive effects of oil, water and grease, so it's suitable to use in demanding industrial applications. As the hose is highly flexible, you can bend it around corners without needing angled connectors. This simplifies installation and supports quick and convenient pneumatic connections. For improved safety, the plastic tubing is slow burning to reduce the risk of it contributing to a fire.
