This adhesive-backed/PSA sanding disc is a net-backed abrasive designed for general-purpose sanding, stock removal, scuffing and surface preparation across multiple substrates. It combines a blend of aluminium oxide and precision shaped ceramic mineral to deliver controlled cutting and finishing when used with a backing pad, supporting tool and vacuum extraction for reduced dust during operation.

Features & Benefits

• Precision shaped ceramic grain for Faster material removal
• Net backing enables dust extraction with vacuum systems
• Hookit-compatible loop integration for Rapid disc changes
• Proprietary pattern coating reduces loading and improves finish
• Available across a range of grades to match task requirements

Applications

• Suitable for automotive surface preparation prior to refinishing
• Ideal for metal finishing in fabrication and maintenance tasks
• Used for preparing composites and gelcoat before bonding
• Can be used for sanding primers, lacquers and sealers
• Suitable for intermediate sanding of filler and putty in workshops

What abrasive composition does it use and how does that affect wear?

It uses a blend of aluminium oxide with a proprietary precision shaped ceramic grain that maintains cutting edges for extended life and consistent stock removal.

How should it be stored to retain performance?

Store in original packaging at 16°C to 26°C and 35 to 50% relative humidity on a first-in to first-out basis to preserve shelf life.

Which attachment systems are compatible for quick changeover?

The loops are integrated into the net backing to pair with Hookit hook-and-loop pads for fast, alignment-free replacement.

What operating speeds are suitable for safe use?

Maximum orbits per minute vary by disc size

adhere to the backing pad and tool manufacturer limits and the label for safe operating OPM values.

How does the net construction benefit workshop extraction setups?

The open net backing allows Air and dust to pass through to a supporting tool’s vacuum system, improving clarity of the work area and reducing clogging.
