The Lapp Data Cable is designed for low frequency applications, suitable for fixed installation and conditional flexible use. It is intended for use in dry and damp indoor environments but is not suitable for outdoor use. The twisted pairs with short lay lengths provide good decoupling of the conductor circuits, while the screen offers protection against electromagnetic interference. Typical applications include computer systems, instrumentation technology, office equipment, and balances.
