Fluke Test Connector Adapter, 250V Voltage, 3A Current - 3560-2

This test connector adapter provides a means to connect a banana jack to a pin socket for laboratory and bench testing at moderate voltages. It is intended for hands-free use up to 250Vdc and for low-current measurement tasks where protected access to multi-pin connectors is required. The adapter combines insulated housing with a flexible tip to reach closely spaced contacts without damaging adjacent pins.

Features and Benefits:

• 250Vdc rating permits higher-voltage bench measurements
• 3A current capacity supports low-current signal and supply checks
• Gold-plated socket reduces contact resistance and corrosion
• Brass banana jack offers Durable conductive mating surface
• PVC insulation prevents accidental shorting during testing
• Flexible tip allows access to adjacent pins without damage

Applications

• Suitable for lab test connector 250V DC red probes
• Used with multi-pin harnesses for individual contact checks
• Ideal for red banana jack to socket adapter scenarios
• Can be used for low-current banana plug adapter 3A measurements
• Used for contact verification on copper and brass terminations

What materials form the conductive contacts?

The upper contact is brass with a bright tin finish and the lower contact is a copper alloy with gold plating.

What temperature limits apply during operation?

The adapter may be used up to a maximum operating temperature of +55°C.

How does the insulation protect against shorts?

The body is moulded from polyvinyl chloride to provide full coverage and reduce the risk of accidental shorting during probe placement.

What finishing options exist for the contacts?

Socket contacts are gold-plated over copper, while the banana jack finish is bright tin-plated.

How are colour options offered for ordering?

The product is available in red and black colour variants for polarity or identification purposes.

Warning

The test leads and prods illustrated in this catalogue should NOT be used for testing circuits of more than 50Vac unless specified otherwise. When testing live circuits, under no circumstances should the fuse rating exceed the quoted rating of the test leads.
