This test box is a Compact enclosure designed to provide a miniature BNC female-to-female RF connection in laboratory and field test setups. Constructed from die-cast aluminium with a blue enamel finish on the housing and a clear anodised cover, it offers a rugged Interface for 50Ω signal paths and is rated for use across a wide temperature range.

What materials form the shielded housing and cover?
The shielded housing is die-cast aluminium alloy and the cover is 0.040 in. thick 1100-H14 aluminium.
How are external terminations secured to the enclosure?
Four steel No. 4-40 screws for solder turret terminals provide secure external connections.
What finish protects the external housing against corrosion?
The housing has a baked blue enamel finish over a phosphoric etch, and the cover is clear anodised.
