Power Unit
Introducing the WX 1 from Weller, this digitally controlled soldering station uses a touch screen LCD display with a central turn and click wheel to confirm selections. four push buttons to provide easy temperature control for your soldering application. The WX 1 station supports one tool up to 200W, with an additional port for USB to datalog and parameter configurations. An integrated sensor ensures that WX tools are motion-activated, allowing them to only consume power when in use.
The power unit features push buttons to precisely control the temperature to suit the application, with an easy to read large LCD touchscreen. The temperature range is from 100°C to 550°C (212°F to 1022°F), offering a great deal of flexibility for various soldering applications. This then means the heat up and recovery times are provided quicker, allowing the job to be quicker more efficient. The Weller WX 1 soldering station is ESD protected and offers a temperature accuracy of ±9°C. There is a 3.5mm jack plug and socket on the back of the soldering unit for equipotential bonding. Equipotential bonding enables you to be ESD safe by joining metalwork that may be earthed, to avoid any potential malfunctions from ESD.
Soldering Iron
Part of this WX 1011 soldering set is the WXMP soldering iron, this high performance and ergonomically designed iron is great for accurate soldering. The 40W intelligent micro soldering iron is ideal for soldering very small components with high energy demand. The intelligence comes from parameter memory for standby temperatures and automatic switch-off to reduce time and energy. Not only does the power unit know when to go on standby, but the WXMP also utilises a motion sensor to automatically to extend tip life. Interchangeable heating elements provide a great deal of flexibility when using different soldering iron tips. Easy to change out RT tips enable to quickly change out a tip if required for different tasks. Active Tip system allows you to exchange the soldering tip despite a hot soldering iron.
Soldering Iron Rest
The Weller WDH 50 soldering iron rest is an ideal place to keep the soldering iron when not in use. Supplied with brass metal wool for dry tip cleaning, integrated into the stand. The holder offers antistatic properties for ESD environments. It allows the soldering iron to be placed in an ergonomic position.
