Schneider Electric introduces the Prevent XY2 SB two-hand control safety for complete site safety. The health and comfort of operators is paramount, resting handrails have been installed for ergonomic comfortability. Simple adjustments can be made when mounted onto a pedestal, but it can also be mounted directly onto machinery (Pedestal sold separately RS 284-7126).

• 2 spring return pushbuttons for control and 1 emergency stop overall mushroom head pushbutton, with or without pre-wired terminal block.

• 4 x Ø 22 cut-outs for mounting other Harmony control unit types such as XB4 (5 additional cut-outs are possible).

• Occupational illnesses associated with repetitive movement have been taken into consideration with this design. Ergonomic designs will significantly reduce this for the user.

• Easily identifiable cable entry, with 1 plain hole for M25 and 2 plain holes for M20.

• Mechanical durability of 1,000,000 cycles expected as standard for this system.

• 18-month manufacturer warranty period with Schneider. Schneider also approves this product as 'Green premium' meaning the product can be safely disposed of without adverse environmental effects.

• Short circuit protection via a 10 A fuse, protecting the appliance and the controller from any adverse external inputs such as short circuits.

• IP 65 conforming to EN/IEC 60529 (total protection from dust ingress and also low-pressure water jets from any direction).

• EN 574, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, ISO 13851 standard approvals.
