Eaton Resettable Fuse, 50A Current Rating, 6V Voltage - PTSLR08056V150

This resettable fuse provides overcurrent protection for electronic and electrical systems by automatically limiting current during fault conditions and restoring normal operation once the fault clears. It is intended for surface-mount applications and supplied in a reel package for automated assembly, making it suitable for high-volume production environments in automation and electronics.

Features and Benefits:

• 50A rating for handling high surge currents while protecting circuits
• 1.5A hold current to prevent nuisance tripping under normal load
• Trip current 3A with typical time to trip 0.5s for Rapid fault response
• Voltage rating 6V enabling low-voltage circuit protection
• Maximum resistance 0.07Ω maintaining low voltage drop during conduction
• Power dissipation 0.6W limiting thermal stress during operation

Applications

• Suitable for protecting low-voltage motor control circuits in automation
• Ideal for overcurrent protection in battery management systems
• Used with power distribution boards in industrial controllers
• Can be used for safeguarding sensors and actuators in machinery
• Suitable for surface-mount designs requiring reel-fed assembly

What temperature range can it operate within?

It functions across an operating span from -40°C to 85°C, allowing use in varied ambient conditions.

How does its resistance behaviour affect power efficiency?

With resistance between 0.02Ω and 0.07Ω, it presents minimal series loss during normal operation, reducing heat generation and improving efficiency.

What approvals support its use in regulated equipment?

It carries cURus, UL and RoHS approvals relevant to compliance assessments in product designs.

How is it packaged for manufacturing workflows?

It is supplied on reels to facilitate pick-and-place assembly and Streamline production.
