RS PRO Stainless Steel Y Strainer 1-1/2 in BSP
Use this RS PRO Y-strainer in your liquid, gas or steam enclosed lines and installations to remove unwanted small solids. It works by keeping particles out of your pipelines, preventing them from damaging process equipment such as control valves, regulators and pumps.
Thanks to its Y-design, you can install the strainer in a vertical or horizontal position to accommodate the location of your system. The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal and gasket won't ignite or act as a source of fuel in the event of a fire, as they're durable and non-flammable.
The stainless steel structure of this product is resistant to rusting and cracking, so it's a good choice for use in demanding environments and extreme temperatures. You can install this Y-strainer both indoors and outdoors on your closed liquid systems.
