Phoenix Contact Socket Strip for Connecting Perforated Board - PSTD 0.65X0.65/40-2.54 - 2202982
Connect a printed circuit board (PCB) to a miniature computer using this socket strip from Phoenix Contact. It's specifically designed for establishing secure connections between a perfboard and the GPIOs (general purpose input/output) on the popular Raspberry Pi device or similar components.
This strip has a row of sockets on one side and small pins on the other, so you can mount it easily without any tooling. These pins can transmit an electronic signal to and from computing and electronic hardware. They're known as uncommitted pins, because they can be either an input or an output, or both. This makes for a flexible component that you can use in a wide variety of applications, depending on how you configure the pin connections.
The contacts are gold-plated, providing resistance to rust and corrosion and a long service life. The product's compact, lightweight size is ideal for miniature devices or applications where space is limited.
