Schaeffler UCPA Series Plummer Block House, 20mm Inside Diameter, 30.2mm Centre Height - UCPA204-J7

This plummer Block house is a bearing housing intended to support a rotating shaft within industrial assemblies. Constructed from cast iron, it provides a stable mounting Interface for a 20mm bore bearing and is suited to installations requiring a Compact housing form factor. The unit locates on a flat surface using two threaded fixing points and positions the bearing at a defined centre height for alignment with driven components.

Features and Benefits:

• Cast iron construction provides sturdy load distribution and durability
• M10 mount holes enable secure bolted attachment to mounting surfaces
• 52mm mount hole centre-to-centre assures consistent shaft alignment
• 31mm depth supports Compact axial positioning in confined spaces
• 62mm overall height simplifies integration with adjacent machine parts

Applications

• Suitable for supporting small rotary shafts in conveyor assemblies
• Used with 20mm bore bearings in gearbox mounting frames
• Ideal for light to medium industrial drive line supports
• Can be used for retrofitting existing machinery with defined centre heights
• Used for shaft support where Compact housing depth is required

What material composes the housing and why is it chosen?

The housing is MADE from cast iron which provides mass and rigidity for load distribution.

What threaded fixing specification is provided for mounting?

Mounting uses M10 threaded holes to accept standard metric fasteners for secure installation.

How is shaft positioning ensured relative to the mounting plane?

The housing sets the bearing Axis at a 30.2mm centre height to establish consistent alignment.

Which bore size does the housing accommodate and how does that affect bearing selection?

The unit accepts an inside diameter of 20mm, so bearings with a 20mm bore are required for correct fit.
