In a PLC unit, there are dedicated modules for inputs and outputs. An input module detects the status of input signals such as push buttons, switches and temperature sensors. An output module controls devices such as relays, motor starters and lights.

Choose between two new series - Compact and Modular. The Compact series is not expandable and is available with the following I/O block sizes: 10 I/O, 12 I/O and 20 I/O.
The Modular series is available with 10 and 26 I/O basic units and is expandable up to 40 I/O with the latter. Apart from this flexibility both new series are programmable using FBD, ladder and Grafcet SFC programming languages.
