Has high strength and rigidity. The raw material granules used meet the requirements of FDA 21CFR 177.2470 for repeated food contact, this only applies to the colours the BLACK is NON-FDA compliant. The material is processed according to the granule suppliers guidelines. Applications: instrument handles, friction bearings/strips, insulators and seals etc.
These materials are available in both sheet and rod form. They possess good abrasion and chemical resistance, have good impact resistance and can be easily machined.
