Loctite Thread lock


The Loctite 5800 50ml red thread lock is a single component, medium strength, anaerobic sealant which cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. This sealant is made of di-methacrylate ester material. It provides resistance to low-pressures immediately after assembly of flanges. This product is typically used as a form-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections. It carries no hazard symbols, risk or safety phrases and does not contain any declarable carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins.

Note:

This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.
