Fluke Multimeter Kit, AC Current Clamp Type - FLUKE A3000 FC KIT

This multimeter kit combines a wireless digital multimeter and an AC current clamp module to perform electrical measurements across industrial environments. It supports voltage and current diagnostics, continuity, resistance, diode, capacitance and frequency checks, and links wirelessly to remote displays for safer measurements on live equipment.

Features & Benefits

• AC and DC voltage to 1000V for wide-range testing
• AC and DC current with 0.01 mA resolution for fine readings
• True‑RMS clamp measures up to 400 A for accurate load analysis
• Module logs up to 65,000 readings for extended data capture
• RF range up to 20m for remote viewing through panels
• IP54 multimeter and IP30 clamp for field durability

**Applications**

• Suitable for maintenance on three‑phase distribution systems
• Ideal for commissioning and fault‑finding in motor control panels
• Used for inrush and load analysis on industrial drives
• Can be used with insulation checks where remote monitoring is required
• Used with handheld diagnosis while viewing readings from a safe distance

How is data recorded and retrieved for trend analysis?

The clamp module stores time‑stamped min/max/avg data and up to 65,000 readings which can be exported via a PC adapter for post‑processing.

What power sources do the instruments require and how long do they run?

The multimeter uses three AA alkaline cells with a minimum life of 250 hours and the clamp module uses two AA cells with approximately 400 hours battery life.

What measurement ranges and accuracy apply to high‑current readings?

The clamp provides 0.1 A resolution from 0.5 A to 400.0 A with specified accuracy of 2% ± 5 digits at 10–100 Hz and 2.5% ± 5 digits at 100–500 Hz

inrush displays up to 999.9 A.

What environmental limits affect operation in industrial settings?

Operating temperature is −10 °C to 50 °C, humidity limits vary by temperature with up to 90% at 35 °C, and altitude is limited to 2,000m during use.

How is safety handled during overload events on current inputs?

The mA input is protected by a fused arrangement rated 44/100 A, 1000V FAST fuse with defined overload durations and rest intervals for user safety.
