OSRAM FIREFLY Series LEDs

The FIREFLY series, from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, are side emitting LEDs. They come in the standard 0402 surface mount (SMT) footprint. Due to its low profile and optical characteristics, the FIREFLY LEDs are Ideal for use as flat backlighting for displays.

Suitable for signal and Symbol illumination, display backlighting or floor marker lighting.

Features of the FIREFLY LEDs:

- Side-looking

- Viewing angle 140° horizontal 135° vertical

- Variety of colours

Note

Amber LEDs – Originally designed for use in automotive brake-light applications, OSRAM amber LEDs can appear red due to a high dominant Wavelength value. Refer to a dominant Wavelength colour chart to find your chosen LED colour.
