The MPS International Ltd Step up converter designed to drive WLEDS arrays from a single cell, lithium ion battery. It uses a current mode, fixed frequency architecture to regulate the LED current, which is measured through an external current sense resistor. Its low 200mV feedback voltage reduces power loss and improves efficiency. The MP3301 turns off in the presence of an open circuit over voltage condition.
