SKF Hydraulic Hand Pump, 100MPa, 3.5kg Weight - 729124
Use this hydraulic hand pump from SKF to mount bearings and components. It's compatible with SKF bearing nuts when producing an interference fit into cylindrical and tapered shafts. The pump uses a groundbreaking oil-injection method to push oil between the mating surfaces, virtually eliminating friction between them and easing the mounting of parts. It's designed for a maximum pressure of 100 megapascals (MPa). Because you don't need to machine keyways onto the shaft, it saves on both production time and materials.
• Hand-operated, so you keep full control at all times
• 250cm³ capacity provides adequate oil
• Fitted with a pressure gauge, so you know exactly how much you're applying
• Volume per stroke is equal to half a cubic centimeter, for the right amount of oil each time

Can this hydraulic pump be used to dismount bearing and components, as well as mounting them?

Yes. When dismounting parts, the injected oil can reduce the necessary pulling force by up to 90%, making the job substantially easier. The injected oil overcomes the interference fit and ejects the bearing from its seating with powerful force, making a puller or other assist unnecessary. A stop-nut is recommended to control the ejection.
