RS PRO Resistance Wire, 118 m Length
This special-category RS PRO resistance wire is designed to control the flow of current in a circuit. As it's safe to use in high-temperature furnace and heat treatment applications, it's often found in demanding industrial settings.
The wire is manufactured from a nickel-chrome alloy offers good corrosion and oxidation resistance. This means that it's very unlikely to rust, even in damp environments. For convenient storage, this wire comes on a 118 m reel.
Thanks to this resistance wire's extremely high maximum operating temperature of +1150°C, it's frequently used in appliances such as toasters and electric heaters. It's also Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant, so it contains only trace levels of any harmful materials.
