OSRAM HALOLINE ECO PRO Linear Halogen Lamps
Introducing the series of eco-friendly and low maintenance halogen lamps from OSRAM. The OSRAM HALOLINE ECO PRO series lamps are a perfect replacement of standard double-ended tubular halogen lamps featuring significantly lower CO2 emission and less heat output. These lamps have a standard R7S socket making them easy to change. The average lifetime of these lamps is 2000hours. Osram Haloline ECO lamps have a high-quality light, which is possible due to the colour rendering of 90-100Ra and the colour temperature of 2950K-3000K.
OSRAM HALOLINE ECO PRO R7S series halogen lamps are available in two wattage options to choose from:
HALOLINE ECO 230W /5000 lm / 2950K - 694-8888
HALOLINE ECO 400W / 9000 lm / 3000K - 694-8882
OSRAM HALOLINE ECO PRO R7S series halogen lamps are available in two wattage options to choose from:

Typical Applications:
Halogen Lamps, also known as a tungsten halogen, quartz-halogen or quartz iodine lamp are perfect lighting solutions when high-output and small bulb size is required. This type of lamps generate a warm white colour of light and are ideal for emphasizing and accentuating the structure of a room. Halogen lamps generate on average 20 lumens per Watt and can withstand up to 2,000 hours. These features make them ideal for several purposes, e.g.:
General illumination
Entrance lighting
Pathway lighting
Outdoor applications only in suitable luminaires
Traffic areas
Shops
Restaurants, hotels and similar prestigious applications
Offices, public buildings

FAQs:
What are halogen lamps and how they work?
Halogen lamps are a type of incandescent lamps consisting of a tungsten filament sealed into a glass envelope filled with a mixture of inert gas and a halogen. The combination of gases and the tungsten filament generates a chemical reaction called halogen cycle which redeposits evaporated tungsten to the filament increasing its life and maintaining the clarity of the envelope.
Can this linear light bulb be used in a light fitting that specifies a lower wattage bulb?
Yes, however, it is not advised as it doesn't produce a brighter light. Using a higher wattage bulb can create a fire hazard.
Are halogen linear bulbs energy efficient?
Halogen bulbs are approximately five times less energy efficient than modern LED lamps and generate approximately 20 lumens per watt. This is not the most energy-efficient lighting solution on the market. However, if linear halogen lamps are required, the OSRAM HALOLINE ECO lamps are one of the best solutions due to significantly less CO2 emission and less heat output.
