An IP rating classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact and water in electrical enclosures. This enclosure has an IP20 rating which means it is protected from dust and debris but not protected from any liquids or water ingress, so this product is not recommended for outside use and is also recommended to be kept away from liquids or moisture areas when being used indoors.
