Eaton xEffect Series Fuse Holder, 160A Current, 800V Voltage - 183028 XNH00-FCL-A160-BT

This fuse holder is a three-pole device designed to accept NH000 and NH00 links and to be installed on DIN rail or a mounting plate for industrial electrical installations. It provides a light fuse-monitoring function and front-side actuator control with sliding inspection windows for voltage testing, making it suitable for panel and ground mounting in automation and electrical distribution environments.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for 160A operation giving consistent high-current handling
• Insulation rating 800V AC enabling elevated system voltages
• Conditioned short-circuit rating 120 kA for fault endurance
• Optical signalling of triggered fuse-links for fast fault identification
• Box Terminal accepts up to 1.5mm² to 95mm² for conductor flexibility
• IP20 operating protection and IP2XC contact protection for safety

Applications

• Suitable for low-voltage switchgear assemblies in industrial plants
• Ideal for distribution panels requiring NH00 fuse monitoring
• used with DIN rail-mounted assemblies in automation cabinets
• Suitable for ground-mounted electrical installations in factories

What connection types does it provide for main circuits?

The main circuit uses a frame clamp connection and box terminals with bolt-flange options for M8 securing of copper busbars.

What environmental range can it withstand during operation?

It operates in ambient temperatures from -25 °C to 55 °C with a maximum material heat-deflection of 125 °C.

How does it indicate a blown fuse?

An optical indicator provides Visual signalling when a fuse-link has triggered, aiding Rapid identification.

What mechanical endurance can be expected?

The device is specified for approximately 1,400 mechanical operations and 300 electrical operations.

Which materials and safety characteristics are used in its construction?

The enclosure is halogen-free polyamide, self-extinguishing to UL94, and fitted with error protection and optional locking.
