StarTech NLBK Series Ethernet Cable, 7.5m Cable Length, 27AWG Conductor Size - NLBK-750-CAT6A-PATCH

This Ethernet cable provides shielded Cat6a connectivity for high-speed network links in confined or poorly ventilated spaces. Constructed with stranded copper conductors and a low smoke zero halogen jacket, it is intended for installations requiring screened protection against electromagnetic interference while supporting ten-gigabit Ethernet and power delivery to remote devices.

Features and Benefits:

• 500MHz bandwidth delivers high-throughput data transmission
• 10 Gbps capability supports demanding network traffic
• S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference
• 27 AWG stranded copper enables consistent electrical conductivity
• LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic emissions during combustion

Applications

• Suitable for 10GBASE-T switch uplinks in data centres
• Ideal for PoE++ powered access points and IP cameras
• Used with NAS and SFP modules for high-speed storage links
• Can be used in industrial environments requiring screened cables
• Suitable for routing in enclosed transport or self-contained spaces

What connector plating is used on the cable?

The RJ45 plugs feature 50-micro gold plating to ensure a precise contact fit.

How is each twisted pair protected against interference?

Each pair is wrapped in aluminium Mylar foil with an overall tinned-braid shield for enhanced EMI rejection.

What testing verifies performance to Cat6a standards?

Individual cables are tested using a Fluke DSX2-8000 CableAnalyser and ETL verified for Cat6a performance.

What operating temperature range should be observed?

The cable operates between 0°C and 50°C for normal in-service conditions.
