StarTech Ethernet Cable, 15m Cable Length, 24AWG Conductor Size - N6LPATCH15MBK

This ethernet cable is a Cat6 unscreened network lead designed for high-speed LAN connections in commercial and on‑premises environments. It uses stranded copper conductors within a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket to provide multi‑gigabit data links and support power over Ethernet devices. The cable is fitted with snagless RJ45 connectors and a moulded strain relief to assist installation in constrained runs while reducing connector damage during deployment.

Features and Benefits:

• 10Gbps support up to 55m ensures multi‑gigabit throughput
• 250MHz bandwidth capacity increases available network headroom
• 100W PoE capability supports high‑power devices
• 24AWG stranded copper reduces heat during continuous load
• 6mm outside diameter improves flexibility for routing

Applications

• Used with servers and network‑attached storage systems
• Suitable for VoIP phones and PoE IP cameras
• Ideal for connecting NICs to switches in racks
• Can be used for high‑density workstation patching
• Used for multi‑gigabit links in office backbones

What material is the conductor MADE from?

The conductors are 100% copper stranded wire.

How does the jacket behave in a fire scenario?

The LSZH jacket emits reduced smoke and corrosive fumes when exposed to fire.

Is this cable suitable for PoE++ installations?

Yes, it is rated to carry up to 100W and complies with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 power delivery.

What verification or testing has been performed?

Each cable is individually tested with a Fluke DSX2‑8000 and ETL verified to meet ANSI/TIA‑568.2‑D.
