The Sidamo SR 211 DAV features a steel cast iron arch and band guides fitted with bearings, ensuring excellent wear-resistance of the band saw blade. It has an adjustable front mobile band guide and a gravity-feed separate down movement through an oil cylinder. The system includes a 2-point lubrication system powered by an electro pump, a band-tension micro switch, and a pressure gauge. Additionally, the saw is equipped with a fast-tightening vice mounted on a clearance catch-up slide, an emergency stop with a mushroom stay-put button, and a band cover with a positive micro switch. Motor protection is provided by a thermal circuit breaker, and the motor is driven by a coaxial reducer.
