RECOM DC-DC Converter, 9 to 18V DC Input, 1W Power Rating - RSO Series - RSO-1205S

Is your power supply running too high for your application? Bring it down a peg or two with this DC-DC converter from RECOM. The unit drops a nominal 12V to a regulated 5V, so that two circuits using different voltages can work together. An electrical barrier with an isolation voltage of 1kV DC keeps the input and output safely separated, protecting you from nasty shocks in case of an internal failure. The converter comes in a Compact SIP8 industrial standard package (21.8 x 9.2 x 11.1mm). Use the through-hole mounts to fix it securely to your PCB, for a quick and easy setup.
